Furniture maker by trade, artist at heart. I began building furniture about 12 years ago, and never looked back. Most all of the furniture I build is made from antique long leaf yellow pine reclaimed from structures such as houses, buildings, and old schools. Building furniture using reclaimed lumber produces a lot of scrap and I hate to throw away any of it.. So I started making smaller items by using anything that was destined for the dumpster. I have several buddies that are home builders and always have trucks full of plywood they were taking to the dump. So I asked that they would drop it at my shop, and I started making signs. I try to reproduce signs that have always caught my interest, you know the great ones that make you think a little or even crack a smile. One thing I always have is my camera, I have been in love with photography for as long as I can remember.

How do you get your photographs to look so surreal? Photoshop?
Yes, lots of filters and layers in photoshop. The same old picture gets boring to me. Thanks for taking a look.
